A new killer feature is now integrated into dpora (version 1.3): live on-device translations! What does that mean? The live means it happens instantly. On-device means the text is not sent to the cloud or to any server for translation (or data mining) but rather is translated directly using your own device. That’s a big win for privacy advocates.

Live on-device translations also means the app is now open for worldwide use. A group of five can all be on separate continents, everyone typing in their preferred and unique language, and they all can communicate perfectly. Data may be translated into and out of English, as a translation intermediary.

Google Translate is used to power translation within the application. Go here for more information.
