Progress has been chugging along while creating all the essential elements. A big checklist item completed is the menu link, which now shows a functional sliding drawer with contents. Smaller completed items include disappearing text, improved experience inputting text, device type detection, uuid creation and in-app notifications (ala snackbars).

The next big item to tackle is database integration and the programming logic to make it all work together.
